I have a diehard battery charger. It has a desulfication setting. Never used it but it's there. See if your charger has the same setting.

i just have a simple no bells and whistles kind of charger, no setting like that.

If anyone is interested. I can get Deka marine master reboosts. Have used them for 3 to 4 years. They cost me $50 each without a core. They don't have them all the time.
The term reboost does not mean they are battery returns. It means when they run them through a tester they did not discharge and recharge fast enough. So they send back to be reboost . Then test again. If they pass they go to retail sales.
....Deka is my employer...
