![]() Remember if your out front and following your GPS you have to go around the hook not across it. Don't laugh it happens. Unless you have radar be ware of fog.

![]() 100% agree with previous posts, invest into a GOOD GPS unit. When I fish unknown waters, I make a track and record it going out and get into open water, then stop the breadcrump trail with a GPS mark of some kind. That way when I head back in and its dark I go directly to that GPS mark using known good open water and start back in from there, u will never hit land/unknowns this way unless someone parks a barge in ur way while you were out. Spotlights are fine to use in short bursts pointed at the water, unless theres other boats around of course.
