I just replaced the transom on my boat using two sheets of marine plywood. I used 3M 5200 to glue the sheets together. I decided against using it to glue the transom to the boat though because that stuff doesn't let go once it's set.

Found the resin and other materials at James Town Distributers. Nice folks, had what I needed and saved me a bunch on shipping. Got my thru hull fittings at Hamilton Marine in Maine.
I have 98% of the grinding and wood removal done and all the plumbing is out. Ordered the motor yesterday and I have a buddy coming over Saturday to start reassembly. I will post pictures of the project when completed.
