5/1-5/4 Spruce Run and PB LMB !!
Hey guys,
went camping at spruce run with my buddy this past weekend and the fishing was pretty slow most of the day until around 7pm. It was super windy so we chose to fish from sure with some large shiners. Lotsa crappie, Channel Cats and my 4LB LMB !!! All in all a great weekend, wish the fishing was a bit better but the water still needs to warm up and wind needs to STOP!!

That's awesome. Glad to see that reservoir producing some big 'uns. It's still too cold and windy for me to launch at Spruce Run yet, but I hope to get out there before June. .

Congrats on the fish. I think I saw you guys on friday. I was trolling out towards the dam.....got 3 hybrids for the the day and lost another. Lake was filled with debris of all kinds so I called it quits earlier then I usually do. Before all the rain.......the brids were turning on hut it's been slower since.

Do a search on hybrids on this site.......there's some great info that guys have given up. There's no right way to fish for them.......trolling is just what I do. Just wait.....the water is just starting to warm up. Once it gets a little warmer....it'll be on for the whole summer. Read up and be ready for it.

congrats on pb lmb..yeah I'm ready for hybrids soon myself. i don't know how much more research i can put forth. It's like I've been studying for a final. Im looking forward to fishing for Hybrids more then any other species.
