Default raritan update

After a long absence I'm hoping to get my kayak, pick up my rod and reel again, and explore the Raritan River this year. What's the furthest up I can
put in for an uninterrupted float since the dam removal completion? What's it done to the water level, quality, and fish (Andy)? Let me know.

Thanks!

You can park at sellars above dukes and put in just below the duke island park dam....It will be an uninterrupted float all the way down to the fish ladder....At that point I usually paddle up the millstone to the first dam you come to which has plenty of parking....

Just below finderne ave is the only area on the Raritan that I have physically witnessed sturgeon in the Raritan...3 of them , that were about 3 feet long...This was about 6-7 yrs ago...Hope this helps and good luck this season
