Ice on your canvas cover?

My canvas cover had rain coming thru it as it aged. Never thought about it until the first snow came in Nov and ice and water filled the boat. Temp fix was buy a cheap tarp from HD.

After brainstorming over some beer, decided to spray the new tarp with silicone spray. Bungee corded new tarp over the old canvas winter cover. Unreal! Everytime it snows, one smack of the tarp with a hockey stick and everything slides right off!
