Default Capt.Ron/FISHERMEN/Past Two Days Report.

Didn't get to post yesterday so I'll combine todays report as they are practically the same.

Some smaller fish the past two days with the bite not as hot as it was for the 4 days prior. Don't get me wrong, we got spoiled with the non-stop action and limits all around, now we are back to NORMAL BASS fishing where you have to actually fish and work for them!!

Big Dave was back in shape yesterday with 9 fish including the pool. I guess the abuse from the week before brought his A game back! Jim Toback had 3 nice keepers in the cooler after trying to adjust from his Florida fishing trip.

Mortgage man Eric decided to fish the bow today, after many years of telling him he'd catch just as many up there as the fish swim into the current, he took my advise and put on his own clinic. 4 keepers a bunch of shorts and proof that there is life beyond the stern!! Thanks Eric for beleaving and proving me right, your the Man.

Some one asked me the other day "When are the fish going to get Bigger" If Bass up to 25 pounds aren't big enough, then I'm the wrong business. Hell I'm happy when a customer tosses a nice eating 28 incher in the cooler.

A huge area of fish were spotted offshore today, "Way past where we can go" it makes me sick to think what a blast we could have had if only............

Capt. Dan is working hard every night to get it done, some night's have been good and some just a pick. Working with him to get his own reports up but for some reason his password is not working. He will be posting soon. You can call him direct for info on the night fishing if you like at, 908-930-2335.

Thanks. Capt. Ron

Beyond where NO Fishermen can go....past 3 miles. Since I couldn't venture out there I can only guess as too what they were feeding on....sorry.
Maybe tomorrow they will be closer and I'll have a better report. Then again, they could be heading to Montauk for summer vacation!
The next couple of days will tell all...........

Had the pleasure of getting out with Capt Dan and Mate Paul tonight with a light crowd. Some nice fish caught up to 16 pounds. I scratched out a couple of keepers, one at slack and a nice 14 lb fish with a ripping current later in the evening. Good crowd, lots of laughs
