Sounds like you had an exciting day, couple nice fish, went for a swim, and even landed a nice one while you went for a little dip!!! Oh how I know about that !!! I'm good for that a few times a year myself.........

Net, When you say it that way, it makes my embarrassing plunge sound like I was on vacation. LOL. Fishing, swimming......what could be better? The Paulinskill is a very interesting stream with many different characteristics. It's too bad that so much of it is inaccessible because of private lands. There are always trout to be had and the smallmouth population is no slouch either. When I go, I'm never looking for numbers of fish because they can spread out over a long distance. It's a lot different than the Musky, Pequest and South Branch (at least the stretches I fish) so it makes it a pleasurable alternative.
