chicken livers are sold at most large supermarkets. i get them at stop and shop, and sometimes an asian supermarket by my house if stop n shop doesnt have them. they are usually $1.50-$2.00 per container.
for calm rivers where im doing short distance casting i just push a palm sized chunk of liver through the hook point a bunch of times and cast gently. for the big D i use Atlas Mike's spawn sacs along with Atlas Mike's elastic thread, and make sacs out of the liver chunks. u can get spawn sacs and thread from cabelas or large tackle stores usually sell them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV9n2JapC1Y heres a link for how to tie liver sacs, and links to buy the materials are in the description. |

Awesome video. You learned me something.
Also, you gotta love catfish, Cabela's and Nattie Light. That's what I call America. |
