Applying for my 95th NJ Skillful Angler Recognition Award 🥇
Went carping in the 55.4 degree Millstone River on the north shore in Plainsboro, NJ, this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a light southwest breeze. The duck weed at the dam floated upriver and across my fishing 🎣 spot making fishing 🎣 very difficult 😞. Only saw 3 other fishermen. Threw out Walmart canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released 3 brown bullheads to 14.5”, a channel catfish and a 19” 4 lb 2 oz common carp on my last cast of the night with corn 🌽 bait. Landed 79 carp this year. I’m applying for my 95th NJ Skillful Angler Recognition Award 🥇 for my biggest bullhead. Tomorrow’s cold 🥶 front may cause the fish 🐠 to stop biting in all of my freshwater fishing 🎣 spots.
