Striped Bass Addendum Meeting and Public Comments
Striped Bass Draft Addendum II Public Hearing
The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) is considering changes to striped bass management to reduce fishing mortality to target levels, support stock rebuilding by 2029, and allow managers to respond more quickly to upcoming stock assessments. All proposed changes are detailed HERE https://www.asmfc.org/uploads/file/6...ce=govdelivery A public hearing will be held in person on December 5, 2023 (6 pm - 8 pm) at the Stafford Township Administration building (260 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050). If you are unable to attend this public hearing, ASMFC is accepting written comments through December 22, 2023 (11:59 pm).
