Fun filled fishing weekend!!!

Put some time in on the water this holiday weekend. It all started Friday with the day off of work I scheduled a guide trip in the am. I had little Giovanni and dad Justin out on the valley. This was the guys first time there and little gios first time on a boat. It’s easy to say the little guy is in love, the guys boated a bunch of hefty lakers and a few small bows. Little gio was so pumped they dropped a laker off at the taxidermist on their way home as that is his first and biggest trout to date at age 9. The kid did awesome and pumped the rod like a seasoned veteran.

Once I finished up with that I booked it south met my bosses son and splashed the mamba in the salt. We shot out with the incoming tide and got to work quick doubling and tripling up. All on the troll with Shads, and over 15 fish in little of 2 hrs of fishing.

Saturday morning I met up with James again and rob skunk city for some crappie fishing on the big pond. Found them in a bunch of places but a lot on the smaller side then what we have had. James had never been crappie fishing so hes definitely hooked. I even saw that ice badger and B.D out there…. Thanks to BD for letting us jump in your honey hole for a bit.

Wrapped it up with James and rob and headed to my favorite little trout stream in this state close to home and hiked down the mountain and fished every pocket and seam I could picking up a bow just about every spot. Powercheese did the damage. If they were sitting in there they came right out and nailed it. Pick your poison boys!!! It’s that time of the year! See ya guys out there!!!!!!
