![]() 23 degrees when I got out to the Musky yesterday morning. It wasn’t too bad out thankfully. No wind and bluebird skies, I’ll take it. Started off drifting the pink worm and got smoked on the first cast. Fish is big and fighting like a beast on a mission too escape. It’s ripping up and down the stretch trying to get into the root systems. Finally get her out and see color on the fish and it’s a beauty of a Tiger Trout around 20 inches. Another fine specimen! Fins on this lady were like 2 inches long and it was just a perfect fish all around. Released the fish into the depths and considered leaving as I know I shot my load on the first drift. Decided to stick around and cracked 8 good sized Rainbows that hit and fought pretty aggressively considering the weather. Wore the run out eventually and checked some other spots only to come up empty. Solid action to be had out there guys. Go get em’! Beautiful day on the river and nobody else in sight. TIGHT LINEZ!!!
