PA trout w/ spinners

Picked up where i ended last time, top of the stretch and fished onward upstream. But it wasnt going well. A lot of hits and short strikes on the jig. Same action but not the same results as last outing.
On top of that, I took a tumble and landed mostly on my knee, luckily the water wasnt that cold.

Punished, I walk back and drive to another stream nearby. Easier stream bed and less jank rock this time, and bigger/wider stream so switch to the inline spinner and said F-you to anything nipping my lures. Day turned around and was grabbing trout left and right, especially some nice beefy stocked bows and healthy browns. Still lost some fish but nothing like before. A lot of visual follows and hits and just love that part of it.

Windy and the leaves were coming down, was pretty tough raking through the leaves with the spinner but still wasnt that much of an issue.

Also checked out the raritan river Sunday and it had a good bass bite in the short session.
