Gambler has had some good catches of fluke on our half day trips, along with a few big sea bass. Catches are being taken by both traditional fluke rigs with squid/spearing combo --and by jiggers using bucktail/gulp combos. We have been fishing in depths of 60 to 80 feet. The only time that the fluking is slow when we have not enough --or too much of a drift
Our Nite Wreckin' trips have turned more to blue fish lately, as the ling have moved into deeper water and the bluefish are more plentiful. The bluefish have been taking bait but seem to go after 4 oz jigtails more aggressively. Hope to see you aboard
