![]() The Gambler has had some good moments with the 1/2 day fishing, just not all that consistant. It would be nice to string together 4 or 5 good fishing days in a row. Conditions have been unsteady this year. And the water is 10 degrees cooler than last year at this time. Still, there has been some good trips with a few fluke and sea bass limits. Some nice 3 and 4 pounders coming over the rails and our big fish for July (so far) is 5.8lbs. It's nice to be able to take home some big sea bass, too.
Our Nite Wreckin trips have been good on ling and sea bass. The weather has kept us tied to the dock some nights, but when we go, the trips have been mostly consistant. Some beautiful squid have been showing up under our night lights and the guys that try for them are catching quite a few. Bluefish, too, having been hunting the outskirts of our luminous hull, occasionally chomping a ling in half. We have virtually anything you need for your night excursion --but if you want to fish for squid, bring a light spin rod and some squid jigs. Gambler is running at half capacity for 2021 for your comfort Hope to see you aboard
