Default wet wading dinks and fathers day

Numerous short trips across the raritan-watershed wet wading for whatever. Normally after work I will slay the redbreast in the upper NB and pick a nice smb or few. Some sunnies on beds still, i also caught a SMB off a bed, really weird seeing that so late? Rockbass seemed to disappeared ever since they finished spawning.
Main stem and branches seem to be good if you're throwing small swimbaits, 1-2 inches no more. Ned rigs on a few but they dont seem to be that consistent as they were earlier this spring.

I saw a few SMBs blitzing/crushing minnows sometimes nearly a rod's length away while im wading lol. Amazing how fast they swim and how hard they hit when they want actual food.

Ive been catching a few unexpected trout in the mix, they still seem to be around even in lower parts where you'd think it'll be too warm. Midday too.

Fathers day another success, took dad out and he looks forward to this one run that we consistently get trout out of. We got 4, 1 twice; I caught on a lure after my dad caught it on crawlers.
I happened to pick up another two trout in random spots, along with smbs and sunnies mixed in. Nice day. Thanks to the sporting life for the bait : )
