Luke and I took the first trip of the year to one of our favorite lakes to fish for bass and panfish for the weekend. We got there friday, camped out overnight and started early Saturday morning. When we arrived, it took us a little bit to find the fish, but once we found them, we were on them the rest of the day. Bass were wrapping up spawning, blue gill were moving up, and the shallows were paved with white perch. Highlights of day included:
* Multiple double ups and a quadruple header of white perch
* Luke's PB Largemouth
* Luke's PB White Perch
* My PB Crappie
* Multiple 10"+ Sunfish
The wind died on Sunday and it was flat calm, which made the fish super spooky up shallow. We still managed to catch some fish, but it wasn't the drop and reel fishing it was the day before. Looking forward to the next trip with the boys
