Found some Ice! Perch slaughter! 1/10/21

Met up with some of the boys over the weekend. Fished a puddle on Saturday and got my Slime Darts out of the way. That bite died and me and Skunk checked another spot. This place was locked through with a solid 4-5 inches. Skunk jigged up 2 breeder Yellows at 14 inches a piece and fat. Absolute slobs! Maybe he’ll post a pic.

Sunday we hit another spot. The ice was solid but open water was close by. We kept our distance from it. We found a solid 4 inches and flags were flying all day. Must’ve had about 60 flags on Sunday and they were all Yellow Perch except for 3. A Whitey and some Bullheads showed up in the mix. The action was so nuts I didn’t even get to jig. Caught way over my limit of these tasty morsels but only kept 15. That should be a solid 4 meals for me, yummmmm! There’s ice out there but of you don’t know where to look you probably won’t find it. Be careful out there guys. Looks to be another one of those sketchy ice years. TIGHT LINEZ! FLAGGGGGGG!!!
