2021 First fish of the year, Trouts! 1/1/21

Woke up late after last night’s festivities, very small family gathering. It was a good time! I was supposed to take the boat out but decided to do some walking and wading instead to work off the calories and Jamo from last night. Started the day throwing the plug and ended the day throwing the same. Fish were aggressive in the cold today. I didn’t really spend much time in one area but bounced around a lot. Got 5 wild Browns, 3 Rainbows including a 20 inch beast that I caught and released 3 times in the last 4 years. Same stretch of water. The fish didn’t get any longer but definitely got fatter. I had to walk this girl upstream to land her. Gotta love when I leave the damn net in the truck! Crazy Bow ripped some drag. It was nuts! Great first day of 2021 on the Trouser Trout waters! TIGHT LINEZ and Happy New Year to the best brotherhood out there when it comes to fishing!!!


Pretty sure I caught this Brown last week, hungry guy.....
