Poppa Kurtis PB on NSB 10/24
Well not everyday you get to witness the Obi Wan Kenobi of njfishing land a personal best but i was lucky enough to witness it on one of my charters. Bass fishing was tough for us my nephew nicky landed the 1st of the morning a nice 30+lb, bait was everywhere & getting harrassed but they just werent biting, suddenly poppa kurtis hooks up & he says its a jumbo. Poppa kb whooped its a$$ in no time, & shawnie netted a gorgeous slobzilla. Put on scale 52lbs a new pb for poppa kurtis which is saying something.
We bottom fished next, picked & plucked away at tog, sea bass & porgys, landed in the mother load of snapper blues so we limited out on those & had some tasty treats to fry up for football. Vince hacked it up as always & me & dev got his & her togs off the same piece & I landed my PB Bunker
