Default Fished the Bad Influence

Well I was fortunate enough to get an invite to fish with Capt Jeff Viamari on the Bad Influence yesterday. Though this post will give a small fishing report. The real purpose it to tell everyone the way he operates totally changed my mind about tipping Captains that also double as mates. With 6 guys catching well all day he was there with the net, filling the bait, getting out tangles, unhooking a few dogs and everything that needed attention every minute, all while keeping the boat in drift and in the direction he wanted, never missed a thing all day !!!! Including telling me my hooks were too small 😂😂 yup I listened and retied new stuff immediately. It was first class all the way. When you get the type of service that Capt Jeff delivers a tip is certainly in order!!!!!!!
Now for the fishing. It was nothing less than great !!!! I think all of if came unbuttoned or broke off a big fish ( frigging Jersey hacks that we are) It took a short time for him to find the drift that produced. We just kept getting bites and putting them in the box until we filled with our legal limit. Nice quality fish up to 8+ lbs I believe. I do believe we each had or shot at a DD or close. Went home with big bags of fluke and sea bass.
Thanks Capt Jeff for an awesome day of fishing. Also for enlightening me a bit on why in certain instances Capt’s do need to be tipped properly.
