Decided to give the panfish and trout a rest on Saturday and see what the green carp were up to. Hit up a shallow water lake to find the water temps at 62
It was game on with the chunksters hitting all the traditional moving baits. Square bill, spinner bait, chatterbait, and stick bait.
Finished up with 5 fish to 3.5#. All the fish were healthy and super chunky. Had a 15" weigh 2.25#. They are feeding up well for the spawn.
Also missed a muskie. I couldn't move it off the shoreline and it thrashed like a mad man until the little squarebills hooks pulled.
