Golden Eagle - STRIPERS, STRIPERS, STRIPERS!!

It was pretty breezy today and we couldn’t get offshore to fish for the BLUES so we worked the STRIPER grounds. The morning was pretty slow and we saw some STRIPERS but we had a hard time getting them to bite but the last couple drifts of the day WE CAUGHT QUITE A FEW STRIPED BASS. Two of them were over 40 lbs., two or three of them were over 30 lbs. and there was not a fish under 20 lbs. on the boat.

These people put up with some tough conditions today but they stayed at the rail and they were rewarded for it!

Get your friends together and come on down - IT IS TIME TO GO STRIPER FISHING.
