Down Deep Bull - 9/29 & 30 Striped Bass
Saturday aboard the Down Deep Bull we ran another 6 am open boat Striped Bass trip with a great bunch of guys. After a Friday to remember, we couldn’t buy a fish Saturday with GSP traffic on the water coupled with a nearly 3kt drift spelled doom. We marked them and had to fish were they were, just didn’t work.
Sunday we sailed with a big group of great new and returning guys. The crew took out a pound of lead and sunk the snakes. The stars aligned for a short while and a few good fish were landed. Not great by any means but it’s only going to get better by the day. Get the guys together and get your trip on the books. You’ll be glad you did. We will chunk, liveline, eel, jig, clam, worm (trolling as a last resort or by request). Fall bonus tags provided for everyone when required.
