I don't think I've posted yet this year, but I've been lurking and enjoyed seeing everyone's posts!
I've been doing a lot of fly fishing this season, but also decided to try out fishing with larger baits for bass which has wound up paying off. The two biggest bass I caught weighed in at 5.5 and 4.5 lbs.
I've started fly fishing for carp which has been a lot of fun, but a bit tricky. I've found the best way to catch them to be casting ~5-10 feet in front of them and letting the current carry the fly to the carp. Here's one of the better ones that I caught.
This past week, I did some more fly fishing for Pike and managed to catch this guy on a self-tied streamer.
After that, I hit up a stream and managed to land my first two brown trout.
