Sunday Fishing On The Fishermen With Dad! Got Another Nice Fish!

Dad and I had not fished together in a while so it was nice for us to get out and fish! Of course we got down nice and early and set up on the bow. Made it out there and started fishing and of course dad gets the dollar fish!! Fishing was pretty good. You had to work for the fish but they were there. Dad and I went back and forth catching keepers with lots of shorts mixed in. Capt Ron Santee was making moves and giving it 110% like always. We picked away at fish all day long. Weather was very nice too. Drift was pretty good. So Capt Ron took it into overtime and i was fishing away. Casted out and line came tight and i was jigging along. All of a sudden it gets heavy and i swing for the stars! Fish On! Called for the net right away seeing as i had to peel it off the bottom. Knew it was a big one right away! Pat was right there and i fought the beast to the surface and into the net she went!!! Big Girl! Measured out at 27 and 1/2 inches and 9 pounds on the dot!!!! Hell yeah! 5 mins later it was time to head in! Now thats a buzzer fish!! Haha. Dad ended his day with his limit plus a ton of shorts. I ended up with 5 keepers (only keeping my limit) and a whole mess of shorts. Big thank you to Capt Ron, Joey, and Pat! Always a great time with you guys! See you next week

Oh yeah forgot to add.... Got that 9# fish on my only FOMF jig i had left! Deadly!
