Default FSOS SAT on Rockbottom

Had Capt Ron booked again this year for the FSOS. We parlayed our 2nd place winnings from last year so we had a free ride. Thanks Ron!
Crew was myself, Joey Da Fish, Mike Sharkyispy, Two guys rod, Rich and Ron JR.
had lines in at 5:30 and gave it hell all day but conditions deteriorated quickly and before you knew it the drift went from .6 / .8 to over 2 knots. Capt ran all over NJ east, west, north and south. We picked a few and many wouldnt commit. Thought a "scratchy" bite only pertained to TOG! We even anchored on a few spots and cast around.

Finally found a patch of fish willing to chew around 3PM and hit it hard. A couple of fish near the 6 lb mark (1) by me and (1) one by Joey. Joey da Fish is just a fishing machine!
After all was said and done we boxed up 10 nice fluke / 2 ling and a few seabass. Most of us had 2 keeps , Joey of course scratched out a limit and Two guys rod got a whistle keeper. Ron Jr ?? LOL tough day for him.
Great crew , lots of BB and laughs. My biggest caught on a sharkbite 4oz white bucktail. just saying.

Jesse was spot on all day and cant say enough about Capt Ron and Rockbottom. He could have easily thrown in the towel after burning fuel and working his butt off but instead kept at it 10 hrs plus and found us a spot to save the day. Too late for any weigh ins and it didnt matter anyway.
Book a trip on the Rockbottom! You will be glad you did.

Congrats to the winners
