Fathers Day Fluking On The Fishermen

Great day on the water today. Dad and I got down nice and early and got set up. We got to the first spot and my second cast i get a nice keeper! Dollar fish!!!! Had steady action with the shorts and got 2 more keepers in the box and was limited out at 9:27am!!! Dropped a few fish but the action was good and ended up getting 2 more keepers(only keeping my limit). Dad had a rough day as he just couldnt get away from the shorts. I was hoping he was gonna get a slob. In the morning it was all about the white gulp and i sweetened the deal with some fluke ribbons. Then later in the day switched over to New penny and it paid off. Lots of action. Great group of people up on the bow today and lots of laughs throughout the day. So i ended the day with 5 and dad had all shorts plus a monster dog fish!

Tackle i used today was a 1oz jigging world ball head jig with a plain 6/0 hook for a teaser. Both with gulp. Fished with my Sloopster Dark Matter Inshore rod paired to a Shimnano Stradic Ci4 2500. 20 pound spiderwire and 25 pound floro leader.
