1st annual Disabled Veterans Fishing Challenge
Hey guys,... Had the best day ever fishing with some of the greatest people.
My wife and I teamed up with Greg Kucharski from Play Hookie From PTSD and together we put 20 disabled veterans on 8 boats and had a friendly fishing challenge inside Barnegat bay and Manasquan river. rain was called for but it turned out to be a beautiful day. We met back at Forsberg's Boat Works who let us take over the boat yard for our awards and BBQ. These folks had such a great time they are already asking if I'm doing it next year DAMM STRAIGHT. I had Veterans Eddie and Pam on my boat and they brought Gunny and Houdini along..their service dogs. What a blast. We had prizes for everyone and that is due to people like CAPT. Bob Bogan from the GAMBLER...Thanks Capt.Bob Jenkinsons Aquarium, Forsbergs Boat works and the MTA. Also all the boat captains who donated their time and boats to make this a great event....still don't know how to post pics here
