Not to sound like another broken record, but we have another great day today with the stripers , Nine-year-old AJ Kilmat Grandson of Joe Florida, a mad gaffer regular . Both joe and AJ are extremely skilled angulars , AJ whacked
a doubleheader of 20 pound bass, and boating both of them with no help from anyone else . Consequently, AJ, now has the nickname ( double down ) AJ has been fishing with me now for three years, he is not a big kid , he stands on a box to fish , but he is big in stature, and fishes better than most adults which is amazing especially at this age. Besides fishing ability, he is a gentleman, and generally a pleasure to be around , which you cannot say about every nine-year-old, although most of the kids that fish with me are the same way. But their parents are too,
basically I am fortunate I have a very , very nice clientele . We limited out , and we had quite a few nice fish. We will be back next Tuesday in shark River for the opening of Seabass , which we are running an Open Boat for , and have plenty of room. We are also open boat iSunday Mother’s Day,, and Monday Both those trips will be for striped bass call for information reservations, pictures will be posted later and on Facebook
