I went out to SR last night because of the almost balmy temperatures. Got to the water around 9:20 and threw some night crawlers out there. Jigman gave me some tips so I ran a slip sinker setup for the first time. Got one big bite that knocked my rod over, but I forgot to tighten my drag (

) and my reel became one big birds nest. Needless to say I lost the fish. Wasn't able to land anything this trip, but my expectations were low to begin with. The rain really lightened up when I got there and around 10:30ish it stopped all together. All in all, I learned some new tactics and got a few hours to relax. The reservoir was glassy and calm, a very peaceful setting. Tight Lines all!
