Hey all!
The winter months are fast approaching which means many of us will be cooped up inside waiting for spring. Then there are those of us who will be suiting up in winter coats and long johns and heading out to fish anyway!
From what I've heard, Ice fishing hasn't been great the last few years due to lack of thick enough ice, which leaves people like me stuck on the banks of our beautiful NJ ponds, lakes and rivers.
That being said, what are everyone's favorite winter fishing tactics? I usually soak bait and wait for a bite, but I'm wondering if there are some winter bites I'm missing out on. I wanted to start this thread for some of the other novice anglers (like myself) who don't want to wait for warmer weather to get back on some fish.
I look forward to seeing your responses! Tight lines all!
