Default Pre-monsoon walleyes -- this past wknd etc

I think the really frequent nite adventures have finally begun to wear on me. It took 8 months but it finally started to happen

Anyhow, got out Sunday morning from 2 am to 430 am. It was an odd shift. Fished run and gun style bouncing from river to canal in a variety of places. Swung two cookie cutter/dink walleyes on soft plastics.

Earlier in the week on one of the cooler, move overcast days i dipped outta work a couple hours before the 5 o clock whistle. Threw big stuff hoping for a toothy critter. No one home but did manage a very ballsy walleye on a 3/4 oz spinnerbait lol. Kudos for the cajones padroni lol.

Was out one more night last week, run and gun again. Managed 5 walleye that nite but nothing over 18". I've been getting a lot of smaller fish lately. I'm hoping this deluge we just received turns over into a more steady fall pattern bc it seems like the big girls just haven't been aggressive. Historically I've caught 3 or 4 of my largest walleye in November. I hope the seasonal pattern stays true.

Few shots below...
