I start off with a FG Knot which I tie at home.... you can't beat the slim profile to go right through the guides..... seems difficult at first, but the more you tie them the quicker you get at it, and Super Strong.....and if I have to re-tie another leader on the spot I'll use an Alberto knot which is quick, strong and still a thin profile.
