Default Montauk Fluke

Fished the Miss Montauk on Saturday. Boat was railed by 5 AM. Big heave due to the storm and a bunch of complete nit-wits that couldn't get with the program kept the numbers down. About an hour in the guy next to me gets slammed and thinks he's hung on the bottom. I kept telling him it's a fish quit horsing it and reel. He was hung up with lines from the other side and is HORSING this fish up. Pretty much did everything to try and lose the fish. Finally clears the bottom of the boat and it's a real real big fish. Sharon very calmly waited for her moment and dipped the net under the fish and smooth as silk lifted her in the boat. 32 inches 13.32 pounds. Guy didn't think it was all that big a deal. My buddy David and I caught some jumbo Sea Bass and a few keeper fluke but nothing like that. There was one other ten pounder caught on this trip. Great weekend on the water can't wait to go back.

Big shout out to the folks at Jigging world. We were stuck in traffic and called to let them know we were going to be there ten minutes before they were closing. No problem. Picked up jigs and a new pair of boots and boy that place is like a candy store for fishing. Thanks again!
