Sunday Flukin! 8-6-17
Left the marina around 7 and was greeted to a very choppy RB due to a steady NW wind. We finally made it around the hook and the ocean was pretty calm. Headed down to the SHR area and decided to fish close to the beach. We caught plenty of short fluke and robbins also lots of small blues. Once the wind died down I hit the #'s that I fished last week and it was game on! None stop action from start to finish. My Pop's and I both got our limits of fluke and sea bass plus blues with all of the keeper fluke at least 20" and keeper biscuits 3lbs. This was the day I have been waiting for all season. Great fishing and lot's of action. Also the weather was perfect. BTW a boat fishing close to us caught a 10+ lb fluke. There are plenty of fish out there and some are BIG! Now is the time to get out there and get them. Tight lines!
