Past 2 Weeks: Browns, Rainbows, Brookie, Striped Bass, Smallmouth, Pike
Hit the river a couple a couple of times chasing trout over the past two weekends. The action has been great, and I landed a bunch of brown trout, a few rainbows, a brookie, loads of smallmouth and a surprise striped bass that ate my trout lure. I also got out one day after work this week for a quick session on the pike river, and caught 3 fish from around 27 to just over 30 inches in about an hour.
I made a quick stop at the trout spot early Wed before going seabass fishing in the afternoon, and landed a big brown and lost two others along with the usual handful of smallmouth bass. Here are the pics: Largest brown of the past few trips |
