BOUNTY HUNTER-Peter Scherrer Charter Gets The Big Stripers. 6/15
We had Peter Scherrer on board today for a late afternoon 3PM to 9PM Striped Bass Charter. Filling ut Pete's crew were Cesar, Mike, Julio & Fred. We ran out to where the bite has been the last few afternoons and there was no one there. We put out the TGT Spoons and within a few minutes we had 2 Bass in the boat. One at 30# the second weighing in at 35#. I read a lot of deep water bait but not much in the way of Striped Bass. I made a small wiggle and landed a beauty weighing in at 47#. We missed several Bass on the strike and a couple more pulled the hook. It was a bit frustrating but the boys were having a good time and were happy. This was a good crew to fish with and we all had lots of laughs.
