Saturday report
Blue fishing was good today. We did not have to go too far from the inlet and we found Birds working over schools of Bluefish that were feeding close to shore.
We caught Bluefish from 3 to 12 lbs on Jigs and Croc lures. The action was good until slack tide, then there was a lull until the tide turned, and they started feeding again.
The pool winner was:
Dan Saggiomo from Corning NY with a 12lb bluefish
At times there was quite an area of fish with multiple people hooked up all around the boat. Hopefully we can do a repeat tomorrow. The weather looks good and there's plenty of space available. The big Jamaica will be sailing at 7:30 a.m.
Night fishing was poor last night but, we will try another area tonight and hopefully have better luck.
