Finally... I caught some fish! Big river eyes 4/26/17
Fished 1030 to 12 last night. Gearing myself up for the upcoming sleeplessness many of us will endure for the next 8+ weeks.
Threw black blobs and plucked a couple eyes. First fish was ambitious. 19-20" eating a 7" blob. I respect the courage!
Hour later switched to a diff blob and got smoked by a chunker. As soon as I connected I knew she was a piggy. Took my time and slid her up the bank. Hefty, likely post spawn judging by the belly. Taped at 27" on the button. Hooray beer!
Felt good to get a couple respectable fish finally. Been on a smallie dink parade for like 3 weeks now. Here's the porn....
