With the GF away for work travel this week, I've had plenty of time to get some fishing in and it has not disappointed. With exception of Sunday, I've been able to spend time on our little state's best lakes, reservoirs and rivers. In what is turning into probably one of my best 1-week stretches, I've landed Pike, Rainbow Trout, Hybrid Stripers, Walleye, Crappie, Bluegills and Catfish this week. With the warm water temps, lots of fish moving over deeper water and suspending over the thermocline. Downrods with live bait have been successful, with exception for the Panfish, which were hot for small swimshads. A dialed in fish finder is a must these days. Highlight of the week has been my biggest Walleye of the year, a nice 27" that took a rather large herring over a main lake point. With that being said, on with the fish porn!
