Sandy Hook Surf Report 7/16/2016

Thought I'd give sandy hook another shot after the success we had around 4th of July.
Slightly different story this time, as there were not a ton of searobin around as before, but it was mostly fluke all morning.
Hooked into a couple of stargazers too, one of which was a few pounds - solid fish. Tried to electrocute me as well haha!
Only one searobin caught and a few fluke shorts. On the very first cast though we hook into a keeper fluke that turned out to be over 4lbs and 22.5"
All fish caught on the usual bucktail fluke rig with gulp. Fished from 7am until 11am.
