Fish Monger II Stripers, Fluke, Load of Ling + Jumbo Flounder

Hello all,

What a busy week with a lot of species on the menu!!! Here's the recap.

Started out the week with our last scheduled Striper trips. Both were pm trips and both seen incredible fishing wish fish on top. Limit of overs and some unders for anchor Joe n crew on Mon afternoon all on live bait. On wed it was insane night with an over n under limit for the crew. Was a long run but when it hit the magic hour all hell broke loose. Fish on poppers lives n chunks with a bunch of personal bests to the mid 40s. Talk about ending with bang!!! What a great season Thank u everyone who striper fished with us this year. As always Will be back on em in the fall!!!

Next up was a couple of fluke trips... lots of life but mostly in the shallow water which meant heavy on the shorts. Action was good but not enough keepers as I like to see. 11 keepers for adam and crew and 16 for Andrew. Will only cont to improve as we see more fish (and bigger) on deeper n on the sticky stuff.

Last but def not least we ended the week with a bottom trip for Joe Murray and crew. Drop n reel action for most of the day. With some real jumbo ling (and alot of em) loads of double headers and the real bonus was the limit of jumbo winter flounder. Biggest kind u can ask for!!! 350 ling a couple dozen jumbo flounder n a few bonus keeper cod. Let's just say the Mates had a lot of cutting to do!!!
