Default Week Recap

Had one last day in Boston before I left, fished the Charles River Esplanade right by Downtown and was left surprised (again) how healthy the fish are in that river. Managed some nice SMB, LMB, and a few SLOB crappie.

Fished Lake Shenandoah, caught a few perch and a ton of small crappie. Got bitten off by a either a larger pickerel or a small recently stocked muskie, didn't get to see it but i saw the big distance between the teeth damage on my 4lb test line

Was in the area so I stopped by the Rahway River for the first time ever. Walked into a park and started fishing a really shallow, weedy, and narrow river. Caught a lot of small crappie and was confused how the state could ever stock trout there. Later realized that I was fishing a small tributary of the river the whole time . Fished the actual Rahway river for a little while and pulled out two stockie rainbows in about an hour.

Pics to back it up. CPR like always.
