First trip w Plenty of Action
After getting a lot of maintenance done on boat motor and trailer this spring, trailed up and launched at Atlantic Highlands to a great spring morning. After couple thows of the net, we had all bait we needed for the day. first two areas no life so we made another move and were drifting live bunker and bluefish were crashing the bunker.
once tied got rolling good we threw the anchor and had a blast catching big blues on live bunker, swim shads and chunks as the blues were giving us great action.
Bass weren't In the cards for us today but I have to say catching 30+ blues on light tackle provided great fun for first trip of the year.
