Default Newburgh NY

Sup fellas

My friends and I chartered a striper trip sailing out of Newburgh NY with a non sponsored boat. This is a strictly catch and release trip and I've never experienced fishing the Hudson that far up. I was curious if anyone knows how fishing has been or has experienced that area before. I know the Hudson is gorgeous up there so I'm pretty excited to fish a new body of water. The captain was talking about fishing bloodworms and shoe string eels, to bad herring are off the list of potential baits!

I'll be sure to post pictures and a report after the trip, but always enjoy hearing from other points of view so feel free to share any info!
