Default Bass at Favorite Pond

Went to my favorite 15-acre bass pond yesterday afternoon. Finding the surface choppy, I fished a black spinnerbait, and with some sunlight, might have done better with fire-red or chartreuse, which I forgot to pack. This pond always fishes slow, except once last year, when I caught seven, my son two, six of these largemouths three pounds or better. Yesterday, I caught three, all well over two pounds, and one a little shy of three, seemed to me. Had not quite two hours to fish; pitching my favorite weightless plastic worm at the end made me want more.
