Got to launch the boat today and get the first striper trip of the season out of the way. Unfortunately no one told the fish
The chimney man showed up at seven AM and I was still hung over from the previous nights hold em game. Headed down, got our bait and were in the water at 1030. Checked out a few early season spots. Not too much going on. Chummed heavy and kept the baits freshened. No runs, no hits, no errors. Did manage to see a seal and that was the highlight of the day. Boat ran well and it was nice to be out but no love yet. Will be back at it soon enough. Some one has to get it goin

. Water was 49* on the out going.
Thanks for all the tips and advice fellas. Always appreciate it. Will keep a weather eye on next weekend.
Can't catch em on the couch
