Default Sea Urchins for tog bait?

last time I was down at Belmar, I saw a lot sea urchins scattered around the sidewalk on party boat row..The soft underside had been scooped out, leaving just the needles/shell... Now we know that a lot of bottom fish eat them,Sheepshead,Triggers, probably also Tog.. crabs and lobsters eat sea urchins as well.

I was thinking maybe someone on one of the boats got a bunch and used them.. Might be a really great bait if you could find enough of them.. Anyone ever use them, or hear of them being used?? Found this on Youtube.. Pretty interesting... bob
